I know that the Fourth of July is a pretty busy time at the box office. For instance, Hancock starring Will Smith hits theaters today. There are several movies I want to see, but I've never once gone to a movie on a holiday. Not even on Christmas. Granted, I'm usually too busy playing with toys on Christmas to leave the house.
I know that for some families it is a tradition. However, I usually think we can sit in a theater any time, but we rarely get to spend time outside or as a family. Now I'm starting to sound like one of those commercials that say "Go outside & play." Yes, there is a great irony that we need a commercial to tell us that.
