The Other Office

I've heard for a very long time that The original Office is a lot funnier then our version of the Office. Finally, now I know who Ricky Gervais is. Before this moment he's always been the weird British guy that everyone else thinks is funny. Usually I just end up screaming at my TV "Who are you? What are you doing in my movie and why do other people think you are funny?" I think I just didn't go into The Office objectively. I've already fallen in love with the American version. So now that when the British version is on I just think "Where's Dwight?" I think I'll just have to watch a few more episodes but I watched the pilot and I didn't laugh once. Which office do you like better?
