Love Me or Leave Me Review

I had no idea who Ruth Etting was before I watched this film. According to the wikipedia page it seems that her life pretty closely mirrored the movie. I was just tuning into it because of Doris Day. It was one of her more serious roles and she did a great job. Granted, there was still a lot of singing and dancing, but for Doris Day it was a pretty serious role. Her movies always make me wish I could sing and had more chances to wear prom dresses. I really fell in love with a lot of the songs and it's amazing that one person can experience so much heart ache in just one lifetime.
