Are They From Utah?

This was something that I kept asking myself during an episode of “How I Met Your Mother”. Marshall and Lily were visiting his family in Minnesota and Lily was entrusted with a family recipe for some sort of 7 layer salad. It was compromised of huge layers of mayo with Funyuns, gummy worms, and other things that definitely should not be in salad. It made me the laugh the whole time she was making it because although I love my state, people are very fond of putting things in salads that shouldn’t be in salads. Plus, it’s extremely rare for any salad to be heavy on lettuce or vegetables here.
