I first heard The Weakerthans on pandora. I loved their song One Great City. I was drawn in by their band name. I thought it woudl be like my experience with the Caesars, I loved one song & then hated everything else on their disc. I've been wary of new bands since then.
I was fully expecting to get the CD Reconstruction Site, be disappointed & then swap it. My theory is usually "If bands have been around for awhile & they are good I will hear about them" Boy, was I wrong. It's like finding a good acne treatment, it changes your whole week around. I loved this disc. I now must buy everything else they have ever done. Sarakastic hearts The Weakerthans.
