Perfectly Clear

I own both of Jewel's books. I own all of her cd's. If she endorsed an online mortgage company I'd look into it. I'm just that much of a fan. I grew up in the 90's, I can't help it.

So I was excited to buy her Perfectly Clear album & listen to Stronger Woman. I didn't realize that the cd was entirely country music. I'm all for artists trying new things. I don't complain when a Kid Rock song is on CMT. However, I hate this album simply because it's such generic country. Every song sounds exactly the same, very twangy. Jewel is trying too hard to be country. I will keep the CD simply out of respect for Jewel & so I'll have a complete collection but I doubt I'll listen to it a lot.
