Usually I'd rather spend my time fawning over a Lenovo Thinkpad than watch a romantic comedy. I wouldn't mind it so much if romantic comedies were actually funny, but they rarely are. I didn't really want to watch 27 dresses because I was sick of hearing Katherine Heigl make snide comments about why she didn't win whatever award. Plus, they just keep re-airing the same scene over & over during the preview & that scene isn't funny.
However, 27 dresses was ok. I don't think I laughed once, but I didn't fall asleep either. For a romantic comedy that's pretty good.
