The Simpsons has been on for about one gazillion years. I have probably seen every episode. Most of them I've probably seen twice. I don't want to look up how many episodes that there have actually been because then I would realize that I've spent at least two entire years of my life watching the show.
I really love the new opening sequence. In a way I'm a little bit sad that it's changed after all these years, but I love it when the flat screen falls off the wall. I thought that the new intro was slightly longer. However, after looking at this side by side comparison I see that the new intro sticks to the same time frame & sequence. They just added a lot more to it.
