Whatever Martha

I have developed an unhealthy obsession with the show "Whatever, Martha!" on the Fine Living Network. It involves Alexis Stewart watching old videotape of her mother's craft show & mocking her. Yes, I always thought that Martha Stewart's daughter would have deep emotional scars. It was only a matter of time when your mother has a cutting board in her car's emergency kit because she's just that tidy. No, I'm not making that up. I wish I was, but I'm not.

I doubt Alexis ever got to be a kid or play with a remote control helicopters. What confuses me even more is that Martha apparently sanctions the show. I think she even produces it. On one hand it's refreshing to finally see what life with Martha Stewart is really like. On the other hand, it's just too much information. I feel guilty watching it because it's something Alexis needs to work out with her mom, not air on TV.
