It was a perfect storm of panic. I usually store my music on my computer but I just got a new computer last week. I went to turn on my zune yesterday & nothing happened. So I pressed the button again. Then I screamed. It still had some battery life left, but when I plugged it into my computer it still wouldn't respond. Threatening it didn't work either.
My zune was my sole source of music & it wouldn't turn on. I frantically searched the internet & learned how to reset the zune. I know this seems like a basic step, but I never needed it before. I just expected the zune to turn on when I pressed the button.
To reset the zune just press the up arrow & the back button at the same time & hold it for a few seconds. It should turn on. All my music was still there. All is well. Crisis adverted.
