As far as I understand it this is the way the world works. You get a job. You go to an office & maybe it's great & maybe it's not. You do some kind of work. After that, you are paid money & then you can buy whatever you want like Moroccan furniture. This is apparently something that Heidi Montag never learned.
On the first season of The Hills, I didn't think she'd even be able to stay in Hollywood. She dropped out of design school with hopes of having a fun career. Heidi was lucky enough to start out as a secretary or assistant for Bolthouse productions. She was promoted over someone more qualified even though she brought her friends to the parties. Eventually, she ended up in the event planning field. Then she made the huge mistake of walking out on the middle of a project in Vegas & still she kept her job.
Finally, she got drunk at work, along with her boyfriend. She was fired but managed to plead for her job back. Now she is upset that she works in a cubicle & lost her office. With the tough economic times how does she keep her job? I've heard rumors that the show just films there, she never really worked there.
Either way, for all of those who actually have to work to afford Moroccan furniture, it's a disappointment. The sad part is that her boyfriend is even worse. As far as I can tell his work day consists of surfing the internet & rearranging the Tivo. Just for any of you young people out there, I would like to state that is not how the real world works. Hopefully The Hills will stay on for many years so Heidi never has to find that out.
