It was a great premise for a show at first. We could watch a few tattoo artists set up a shop in Miami & put ink on people. We could call it Miami Ink. The show did so well, that a spin off seemed in order. We could follow a few tattoo artists set up a shop in LA & put ink on people. We could call is LA Ink. That did so well that London Ink soon followed.
Then the reality of the reality shows hit. Everything seemed the same week after week. Put tattoos on people, hear their sad stories, put tattoos on other people. So, the artists started going on crazy adventures, like joining a circus. I think every single cast member has visited the circus at some point. I was originally interested in getting to know them as people. More than that, I wanted to see their work. I think all of the shows are slowly dying off because they forgot that.
