A Model Life

I don't usually like to watch shows about models. Yes, I like to see the designer's clothes & see what jewelry is in fashion. For the most part, models seem to be stuck up & I don't even think they are beautiful. I do occasionally watch "America's Next Top Model", but that's only if I can be eating junk food the entire time whilst I yell "Eat a Sandwich" at the tv.

So I was surprised that I liked "A Model Life" on TLC. The show follows 6 girls in NYC trying to make it in the business. The girls are young, but they are also sweet & not so catty. Maybe that is because the show doesn't vote people off, there is just one winner at the end. They seem to be good friends. They don't seem to be demanding although they don't usually like whatever clothes they have to wear. Ok, so maybe they are a little stuck up.

They can never find the agency they are supposed to go to every week. There is just something endearing about them. I especially love Petra, I think she should teach every young model about grace & kindheartedness. ( I didn't know that kindheartedness was a word, but the spell checker recommended it, so I'm sticking to it).
