I go through a lot of music both in the spring and fall. These are the times when I'm outside a lot so my mp3 player is my constant companion. I also just find it a lot more effective to only pay for the Zune Pass on the months I'll actually use it. For the rest of the year I'm near enough to the computer that I can just listen to Pandora.
The only bad part about this plan is that this means that my "must listen to" list piles up for months like it could fill steel buildings. I am trying to get through a lot of CDs so I can figure out what I need to buy or whether I’m just in love with one or two songs from each album.
