I had eagerly been awaiting WGN's and Lifetimes premieres of old episodes of How I Met Your Mother. To me, this is a show that's fun to watch if it's on but I'm not in love with it enough to rent it. This is especially tragic since I missed the earlier seasons and so I don't watch the current season when it's actually on. Yes, my TV viewing habits are varied and complicated.
So, after the first episode I thought "I've been waiting years for that?" I thought there would be a lot more explanation into the whole question of "How I met your mother" Instead it just never gets answered which is why the show has had so many seasons. So I vowed to never watch it again. The problem is that between the two channels it's on at least 6 times a day, sometimes in the same time slots. So I decided to give it a try again and the whole group of friends really grew on me. Now I'm so hooked that I have to take a binocular with me if I leave the room. I still don't know who the mother is, but now I have to spend three hours a day finding out.
