Random Album Reviews

The other great thing about having so much music with Zune Pass is that I can try out music that I wouldn't normally buy. For instance, Zune told me that a band called Paramore was related to the Dropkick Murphy’s. Enough said. I downloaded it. I would probably have really liked this album if it hadn't been compared to such a legendary band in my mind. The only thing I could think of was "You are not my Murphy’s".

Then VH1 did a quick profile on Angel Taylor who was so beautiful and fit it had me thinking about belly fat reduction. I fell in love with her take on positive music so bam I downloaded that too. Her style is very relaxing, not the best thing I've ever heard but very optimistic and fun. I'd say it's worth a listen.

Then it was time to catch up on the music I've been wanting forever like "Heaven is Whenever" by The Hold Steady. I think out of all their albums that they've ever put out this one was the only one that didn't have at least one really memorable song on it. In fact I can tell you entire album lists and what order the songs are on some of their CDs because I listen to them so much. It wasn't bad; it just didn't knock me over with awesomeness.
