For years, I loved the music from the Phantom of the Opera. It was unlikely that I'd ever actually get to see the Broadway show, but I did see the movie a few years ago when it finally came out. I loved actually seeing the visual, everything was so sparkly just like gold chain.
However, the story wasn't at all what I thought it would be. I still love the music, but I think I like the music more than the actual story/plot. I've had several friends who have liked music from Wicked & then where disgusted by it when they read the book. Do you listen to music from opera's that you've never seen?
