New Girl Review

I had read a quote from Jess that made me rethink the whole concept of the show. You know the one; it's all over Pinterest about still being a strong woman and liking glitter and hating ugly pant suits at the same time. When I first watched this show I thought "Well, there's a manic pixie dream girl if I ever saw one". The main character really annoyed me and I turned it off after about 5 minutes. However, it was recently added to Netflix and I was desperate for a new show. This time I looked at it through the eyes of that inspiring quote, that it's ok to be quirky and happy and silly if that's who you really are. I fell in love with the show and am so glad I didn't just write it off as being "fluff".
