Gnomeo and Juliet

I watched this movie simply because it was on Instant Watch. The name sounded cute. I should have spent the time looking up an eyelash growth products. I wanted a totally different take on Romeo and Juliet. I got it though it was more than just gnomes. However, I didn't laugh once. I was worried about how it would end just because I wanted it to be appropriate for kids. I had hoped it would be one of those movies that kids and adults would enjoy. I don't know about the kids but I didn't enjoy it. I didn't hate it, but the only redeeming thing on every single scene was just that it was a story with gnomes. Did anyone else like this?
