Where the Wild Things Are Review

I have to say that I was expecting more of this movie just because the previews looked so incredible. Maybe I need to go back and read the book again, it has been awhile. The only thing I was impressed with was that they could make a feature length film out of such a short book. I was expecting to be captivated but instead had my laptop out while glancing up at the screen occasionally reading about an extended laptop warranty or just shopping for items I will never buy. It wasn't the worst movie in the world. I think it was one of those cases where the previews were so amazing that the actual movie could never really live up to it.
