The other day I was pairing up bands that I thought should tour together. I decided that The Hold Steady & The Drive by Truckers should tour together & play in my living room. The Truckers are classified as psychobilly so I thought they would match whatever The Hold Steady is. They are both in my awesome genre so they go together.
Imagine my excitement when I heard that the two bands are touring together. Unfortunately they aren't playing in my living room, or anywhere close. I could possibly make it to Boise but I just don't know if I'm that devoted. What bands would you pair to tour together?
I would love it if I got to see Ben Harper and John Mayer together. It'll probably never happen, but I think they'd be great. I'm also pretty excited to see Leona Naess opening for Ray Lamontagne next month. They are a pretty perfect pairing.
