It's not like it's David Cooperfield

I've been reading David Cooperfield for 18 months. I'm only a fourth of the way through. I've been trying to watch the movie Erin Brockovich for about four years. It's not a bad movie, it sounds like an amazing story. I just always try to watch it on TV & that means that it's four hours long.

Then I watch it for 15 minutes & realize that I will be watching an entire hour of commercials & I won't be able to see all of the lawyers wearing cufflinks & fighting without wading through an entire hour of laundry detergent commercials. Then when I see Erin Brockovich at the video store I think "Oh I should rent something that I haven't seen parts of before, Erin Brockovich is on TV, I can see that anytime". What good movie have you never been able to finish?
